Short version: this is a small business website. We collect only what we need to reply to you and run the site, and we don't sell or share your data. The longer version is below.
Who we are
Tarpon Web Co. is a sole-proprietor web design business based in Wesley Chapel, FL. You can reach us at jimmy@tarponwebco.com or (775) 342-3888.
What we collect
- Contact form submissions. When you fill out the form on the contact page, we receive the name, business name, current website (if you give one), phone, email, and message you provide. That's it.
- Privacy-friendly analytics. We use a lightweight, cookieless analytics tool (Plausible) that records anonymous, aggregate page views. No personal data, no cross-site tracking, no cookies.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard request logs for security and reliability. These contain things like timestamp, IP address, and user agent. We don't use them for anything beyond debugging and abuse prevention.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data.
- We don't share it with marketers.
- We don't use cookies for tracking or advertising.
- We don't run ads on this site.
How we use what we collect
Contact form submissions are emailed directly to us via Resend so we can reply. We keep them in our regular email account along with our conversation, and only use them to talk to you about your project.
Third-party services
The site is hosted on Vercel, the contact form is delivered by Resend, and analytics are provided by Plausible. Each of these has its own privacy practices we've chosen them in part because they're good ones.
Your rights
If you'd like us to delete a contact form submission you sent us, or have questions about your data, email jimmy@tarponwebco.com and we'll handle it promptly.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top.
