Hi, we're Jimmy & Nikki.

We're a husband-and-wife web design shop in Wesley Chapel. One of us handles the build, one of us handles the people, and between the two of us the same two faces answer your email, design the site, and pick up the phone when something breaks. No account managers, no handoffs, no junior anybody.

About Jimmy

I've been a working web developer for five years and a graphic designer for longer than that. Tarpon Web Co. is what happens when both of those jobs collapse into one chair in a home office in Wesley Chapel.

Before web, I spent three years at Custom Ink as a production artist, where the whole job is making sure the artwork on a six-figure print run is pixel-perfect before it hits the press. Before that, a year designing for Boomer Tattoo in Las Vegas: storefront art, marketing collateral, the whole brand. I've spent five years since shipping production web apps: enterprise platforms, customer portals, and a privacy-first chat product I co-built from scratch. Tarpon Web Co. is where that engineering and design background lands for Tampa Bay small businesses.

That mix is the whole pitch. You don't have to hand off from a junior designer at one agency to a junior dev at another, hoping the brief survives both translations. One person, one chair, design and code at the same desk. It's a feature, not a bug.

I started this shop because the local places I love (the family restaurants, the dental office down the street, the contractor who fixed my AC) were running websites that quietly cost them business: slow on phones, hard to find on Google, built on platforms nobody had touched in five years. Fixable problems. But the industry has made fixing them feel impossible. Big agencies want $10,000 minimums. Cheap freelancers vanish after launch. WordPress sites bloat with plugins until they’re slow on phones and a security headache.

So Tarpon Web Co. does it differently. Flat fees instead of hourly. Honest pricing right on the homepage instead of “request a quote.” Real, fast, modern websites built on the same tools the biggest companies in the world use, sized for the dentist down on Bruce B. Downs.

If you've got a website that's not pulling its weight, send it over. Send your current site or what you're envisioning. We'll reply by email with a few questions, then send a detailed proposal. No pitch, no obligation.

About Nikki

Hi, I'm Nikki. I bring more than ten years of customer service to this shop, plus a creative background that's been quietly running in the background of every job I've ever had. I'm the half of Tarpon Web Co. that loves the people part: the first call, the questions nobody thinks to ask, the follow-up a week after launch to make sure your site is actually doing what you hired us to do.

Jimmy handles the technical side; I handle the people side. He worries about page-load speed and TypeScript; I worry about whether the photos feel like you, whether the words sound like you, and whether you walked away from our last call feeling listened to. That split is the whole reason this team works. You get a designer-developer who can build anything, and you get someone whose only job is making sure working with us actually feels good.

If something about your site, your invoice, or your project ever feels off, I'm the person you talk to. Relationship management and client satisfaction are mine to own, and I take it personally. Everyone who works with Tarpon Web Co. walks away satisfied. That's not a marketing line; it's a guarantee from me.
